so, good night, day! aka yarnovermovement is closing.

yarnovermovement will not be re-opening!
you may have noticed that i have closed the shop, due to the postal strike in canada, however it will also not be re-opening.  instead, i will be pursuing my efforts to put forth a new shop, i feel so sure of this, & so thrilled to have this new opportunity. i just wanted to share these photos of hannah metz in the loved one shorts, & one of the newer knits from yarnovermovement (which will be part of the new shop, along w/ some of the classics). i look forward to knitting w/ lots of gorgeous Uruguayan wools w/ some of the favorite yarnovermovement staples & so many new designs to come.
i can't wait to share all the new things happening & to share sneak peeks, like these...

My shop will be called good night, day & is inspired by an emily dickinson poem, that also inspired the title for one of my favorite modernist books entitled good morning, midnight.

  7. Wow, going through changes! Do you mind me asking why you're changing the name? I'm thinking about opening an Etsy shop but feel more and more disillusioned with Etsy.

  10. Congratulations!!
This is all really exciting and I can't wait to see your new shop once it's all set up! More importantly, I can't wait to grab one of those pretty sweaters for myself!

I'm in a similar situation right now .. I've been feeling so trapped and uninspired by my own blog/etsy store... I decided it's time to start over.
