day in toronto

we spent saturday, a freezing day in toronto, & this time enid came with us, usually we worry she will be bored & too tired since we walk allover, & she insists to us that toronto has no kids, "everyone has a dog instead", it is hard to prove otherwise, & she did receive alot of attention, not her favorite thing, she's pretty shy like her folks.
spent all day on foot, on streetcars, & subways, & even made a  trip out to north york to visit jason's mom & sis, we miss them immensely. i scored a pretty vintage dress in Kensington market, (that is too sheer & now i need to score a vintage nude slip that is short enough for underneath).  enid was thrilled to pick out trinkets in chinatown, & jason of course scored some sale stuff. enid loves  my favorite food place for traditional cantonese too, which i've been eating at since i first moved to Toronto in my early twenties, i used to drag jason there when we first met even (when there was a lot more booze & dancing involved in our lives), well still do.

this one i didn't get , the elastic waist was shot to hell photo c/o enid
sucking in & trying to hide the double chin ;)

this one i did get!

edited to add:
just these two items, in a small paper bag were the reason for the toronto trip, its seems crazy but in my  credit card less world  i can't afford to stock up, so its in very small quantities i have to buy this pricey thick & thin Uruguayan merino wool, i may either have pre-orders or next to nothing limited editions of the welland sweaters, eeks kind of a warning
