ballet in colour




i'm such a fan of films shot in Technicolor  & a few of these ballet stills from the 70s have that same effect, somehow...
these class photos at  the school of american ballet, instructed by felia dubrovska, photos gjon mili, 1974,

    I've been thinking about how I need to get myself a nice blue chiffon skirt and it was nice to see the instructor with one on! I'm searching on all the ballet clothing supply sites for one now ... I think I'm going to get one of those backless cap sleeve leotards! So tempted to get a pair of little slippers to wear around the house too!!
