i turly have a girl crush on carol kane, as portrayed as allison in "annie hall", i've always been drawn to these female characters with that tender gawkiness aka rosemary woodhouse (mia farrow) & shelley duvall (also portrayed in "annie hall").
she seems like some out of place romantic character, of course ahead of her time, but more suited to a edith wharton or jean rhys tragic novel to me!
i noticed in this scene a aubrey beardsley illustration on the wall, maybe carol kane is best suited to this art nouveau period.
& then theres shelley,those braided pigtails are irresistible, not to mention the worn out tank to boot!
girl crush! this is by far one of my favorite bed scenes, not to mention of course, a similar bed scene shared in this same movie, with my other crush character allsion & of course the annie (dian keaton) bed scene too.....( i suppose it was wrong to nick out that opps..)

the strong female cast definitely steal all the scenes & i'm glad i decided to re-visit these gals.
